The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 263

With gritted teeth and overt hatred on her face, Sara looked at Matthew and scolded, "You're a brute! A real bastard!"

Matthew shot back inimically, "Thanks for the compliment."

Though he was a chauffeur, he had been treated like a butler. Moreover, he had been mocked and threatened as well. He could not tolerate that. He'd rather be disagreeable than mistreated. Sara ground her teeth in anger, thinking that he was extremely shameless for taking her reproach as a compliment.

As a scion of the Clark family, her reputation was incredibly important. It couldn't be tainted. Hence, in this situation, she could only restrain herself.

Shooting Matthew a spiteful glare, she turned and entered Wealthwave Group's building. Matthew shrugged, indifferent to Sara's glare.noveldrama

Rachel was in a room, sorting through documents regarding the search for Sawyer.

She had found six men named Sawyer Solomon. One was under 20 years old, another was 32, two were in their 40s, and one was in his 60s. There was one who was about 70 to 80 years old. According to the information provided by Sara, Sawyer was around 70 to 80 years old. Now, only one of the men she'd found fit the age group.

Right as Rachel finished sorting through the documents, the sound of high heels clicking sounded at the door.

She could immediately tell that it was not Tracy. The footfalls were somewhat harried and forceful, as if the person was aggravated.

She set the documents down and looked at the door. When she saw Sara stomping in, she sprung up in shock and approached her. "What happened? Who made you angry?"

Sara walked to the couch and plopped herself down. "Who is your chauffeur? He's uncultured, unruly, and uncouth."

Rachel was taken aback. She had no idea how Matthew had managed to offend Sara. Worried that the company would be affected, she asked, "How did he offend you? I'll settle the score with him."

Sara fell silent. How could she

possibly tell Rachel that Matthew had dragged her to some secluded spot in the mountains in the middle of the night and spanked her? Would Rachel even believe her?

She bet anyone would assume he had sexually assaulted her. Surely no one would believe he had only smacked her a few times.

Even without Matthew's disclosure, the imagined scenarios others might conjure up would doom her.

She promptly decided not to mess with Matthew for now.

"He doesn't obey any of my orders. He's not a qualified chauffeur at all. Never mind. I'll be the bigger person and forget about him."

Rachel breathed a long sigh of relief

at Sara's words. "Indeed, he's not a qualified chauffeur. Our company didn't get to train him before putting him to work. It's mainly because we're understaffed. I apologize for the inconvenience."

She dared not reveal that Matthew was her fiancé and casually explained it away.

Suddenly, a thought came to Sara. She asked, "He's your personal chauffeur, right?"

Rachel nodded. "Yes, he is."

Sara appraised Rachel. The temperament of Khoitwood's icy beauty seemed somewhat different from the past.

Matthew had no qualms about spanking Sara, so she surmised that the bastard chauffeur had probably subdued Rachel with some kind of trick as well.

For some reason, Sara suddenly felt sympathy for the woman before her. "It must have been tough for you too."

Rachel couldn't understand why

Sara had said that. Remembering

the difficulties she had faced

because of traditional medicine, Rachel sighed. "It has been tough."

Hearing that, Sara's sympathy for her grew. "If you can't take it any longer, you can just kill him." Kill?

Aghast, Rachel asked, "Kill who?"
